All-new last year, the Mazda5 multi-activity vehicle enters 2013 with new color choices and minor updates.

The 2013 Mazda5 has new outer mirror with turn-signal lamps and new colors (Zeal Red Mica, Meteor Gray, Black Mica). The interior gets added USB connection port; added rear backup sensors (Touring, Grand Touring); redesigned shift knob; redesigned cloth and leather seat trims; and added seatback pocket (driver's side).

With a unique combination of flexible seat arrangements, sliding doors, stylish design, outstanding handling, fuel efficiency and high level of safety, Mazda5 is unique.

Adopting the expression "Seductive Smartness" as the design concept, the Mazda5's design is aimed to achieve a higher balance of functionality and design, while at the same time giving it a stylish new look that is immediately distinguishable from the box-like designs found on conventional offerings in the market.

The MZR 2.5-liter featured in the Mazda5 is a light, compact design that offers higher performance yet better fuel efficiency than the previous generation. The 2.5-liter produces its maximum output of 157 horsepower and delivers 163 lb.-ft. of torque throughout its operating range for a more satisfying and relaxing driving experience.
